KRS One – Disaster Kit (Video)

The teacher dropped the most essential knowledge that’s relevant to everybody. As the description of the video says:

“This is an opportunity to show the world what Hip Hop is capable of. Obviously this project isn’t about raising money or making money. This is purely about knowledge and survival; I truly hope the world benefits from these words. By memorizing the lyrics of this song, you at least prepare yourself with a mental checklist against natural and man-made disasters.” KRS-ONE….

I hope the readers and their families made it out ok during the hurricane.

Does Mayan Calendar Really Predict 2012 Apocalypse?

With production from Mad Lion, the Teacha questions what really drives our spiritual logic in this visual for “AZTECHNICAL”.  In true edutainment fashion, KRS-One explores the origins of the doomsday theories and other drawn conclusions of scholars.  It seem like we’ve been hearing forever about how we’re living in the last days.  Can it all really be pinpointed down to a specific date?  Look out for Just Like That, his 20th studio album, scheduled for a January 4th release.  Is all this hype over next year just another Y2K?  Are we being trained to fear the unknown?  What do you think of all the cataclysmic predictions for 2012?
