Martha Clara vineyards on the north fork of Long Island was the recent host of the FOLD (Freak Out Let’s Dance) Festival. Grammy-winning artist Nile Rodgers produced and performed at this unique two-day event. You’d be hard pressed to find Chuck D, Keith Urban, Beck, Pharrell Williams Duran Duran, Chaka Khan and Chic on the same stage unless it was at an award show. This weekend out in Brooklyn, Termanology, M.O.P.’s Lil’ Fame and Lee Wilson got together to shoot a music video for an upcoming single entitled “Ghetto Boy” scheduled for release later this year. About a year ago the Beatnuts announced that they were working on a collabo album with Tha Alkaholiks entitled LIKNUTS. There was no audio or any tracks being leaked so i assumed the project was dead. Well luckily Pyscho Les recorded some studio footage to confirm this and i’m so geeked for this project. The Beatnuts are one my all time favorite groups as well as producers. Naturally a joint venture with Tha Liks was a no brainer. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.
