New Tunes: Mark Morrison ft. Crooked I – “I Am What I Am (Remix)”

When I first heard “Return of the Mack” back in ’96 I couldn’t stand the song.  I thought it was some type of radio station parody.  The high-pitched voice, constant repetition of the chorus and the well-worn break beat took a while to get used to all at once.  Slowly, it started to grow on me.  After several years, British R&B singer Mark Morrison has returned to making music and got Slaughterhouse’s Crooked I and producer Mark Sparks on this remix.  Sounds like they might have something here.
